Meet the Founder
As the founder, designer and sole maker behind Silver Sixpence In Her Shoe, I have been handcrafting wedding accessories and gifts since 2010. My studio has worked with hundreds of brides across the UK and beyond over the years from custom work to collection pieces.
My Story
My business began when I made my own wedding veil and headpiece, I discovered how powerful a meaningful accessory can feel. After ten years in fashion buying, I chose to build something slower, more thoughtful and more personal. After completing a degree in fashion design followed by ten years in fashion buying, today I design and handcraft every piece myself, I love honouring nostalgic traditions while giving them a modern edge.
